Dave completed 17 varied years in the British Army, fulfilling a number of demanding leadership and management roles that saw operational deployments in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Career highlights include leading a 150-strong UK contingent on a multi-national exercise alongside the Jordanian Armed Forces, coordinating UK operations in Basra, and directing the initial training of new British infantry officers at the Infantry Battle School in Brecon, Wales.

Reflecting on his military career, Dave realised that his most rewarding roles had been those which involved the development and delivery of challenging training to high-calibre audiences. Perhaps unsurprisingly then, he is now continuing this passion in the civilian sector.
